THERAPY BOOKS - CLOSED TO NEW CLIENTS
(NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENT REFERRALS FOR THERAPY SERVICES)
Autism Canberra Psychology Centre currently offers therapy / counselling services both in a face-to-face setting at our offices in Gungahlin, or online via tele-health video conferencing platforms.
Unfortunately, we have recently closed our books to all new client referrals for therapy / counselling services.
These services are currently only available to existing clients.
We offer tele-therapy / counselling appointments via video conferencing through online video conferencing platforms, with bookings available ASAP for several of our Registered Psychologists.
We also offer face-to-face therapy / counselling, with either one of our Provisional Psychologist's or one of our Registered Psychologist's.
Obtaining a valid GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan may also entitle you to receive some applicable Medicare rebates for any therapy / counselling services with a Registered Psychologist.
To see a Provisional Psychologist, there are no Medicare rebates available, however we are charging a reduced fee to reflect this.
Please see below for more information on each of our Registered and Provisional Psychologists for therapy / counselling, and their areas of interest.

Autism Canberra Psychology Centre offers a wide range of psychological assessments, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments, Psychoeducational assessments, ADHD / ODD / CD assessments, Learning Disorder assessments, Clinical Neuropsychology assessments, and Cognitive assessments, with our team of Provisional, Registered and Clinical Psychologists.
Assessments are available for adults, adolescents and children alike (please note: our Clinical Neuropsychology assessment services are only available for adult clients).
Clients do not require a GP referral to book any type of assessment.
Prior to booking an assessment we offer a 15-20 minute phone consult with our lead Clinical Psychologist (Jenny Lewis), to discuss the appropriate assessment/s in depth, and to provide an exact quote for the client's assessment requirements.
Following the assessments completion, the assessing Psychologist will put all of the information obtained into a comprehensive report on all findings from the assessment.
Please note that all assessment reports from Autism Canberra Psychology Centre are suitable for use with NDIS and / or Centrelink applications, as all completed assessment reports and any subsequent diagnoses will be confirmed and signed off by our lead Clinical Psychologist, Jenny Lewis.
All Clinical Neuropsychology assessment reports will also be reviewed and approved by an endorsed Clinical Neuropsychologist.
Please see below for more information on each of our Psychologists, as well as their available assessment services.
